Taconite Worker Study Group Status Update

(May 12, 2009) — On April 21, 2009, Bruce Alexander, Ian Greaves, Gurumurthy Ramachandran, and Jeff Mandel discussed the status of the Taconite Worker Study Group investigation to the Inter-Agency Committee on Asbestos.

 

The committee is comprised of members from the EPA, ATSDR, U.S. Geological Survey, NIOSH and NIEHS. Some 25 members of the committee heard updates on the work in progress including occupational exposure assessment, environmental exposure characterization, and human health investigations.
